Very excited this week – finally hit the 20 lb. mark on Friday night (by Saturday after my workout it was up a pound again though).
Either way – my body is changing, none of my clothes fit and I feel awesome. James is kicking my ass during our sessions, but I LOVE it. Would never push myself that hard on my own and I appreciate it.Here it is: (again – very happy with everything and am getting super amped and excited with what I’ve been able to do).

I signed up for personal training with Jason when I was starting my first year of law school. I was feeling terrible about my body because I went from being in the best shape of my life after college to gaining a whole bunch of weight while working a stressful summer job for a judge. Jason assigned me to train with Deena. Deena quickly helped me get back on track, and I had lost fifteen pounds training with her. She was always supportive and checking in with me to make sure that I was meeting my goals. She also helped me to get a good portion of the muscle strength that I lost back, which made me look more lean and strong. I immediately had more energy and confidence.
After working with Deena for a little over a year, I switched to training with James to better fit my schedule. I have trained with trainers since I was 15 years old as an athlete and none have been as technically knowledgeable as James. He knows how to push me to my limits, how to recognize my weak points, and how to push me to be better. I have never been as strong or as free of injuries as I am right now. James biggest strength is making the workout enjoyable, even when it is tough and my physical limits are being stretched.
I have had wonderful experiences with both James and Deena and would recommend Jason Kozma’s Los Angeles Personal Training to anyone!

Prior to coming to Jason and James, I had been trying to lose 10 pounds for the last two and a half years. I travel 75% of the time for work and entertain clients over dinner and drinks for a good portion of that. Although I worked out fairly regularly, I found it hard to commit to a diet and finally gave up, eating when and what I wanted most of the time. When Jason and I met, I wasn’t that hopeful he would be able to craft a diet for me that could work while on the road. However, after committing to his plan, I was able to stay on the diet and exercise routine for almost 2 and-a-half months, losing 13 lbs during that time. I lost two pant sizes and noticed a difference in my overall appearance and energy levels. I was also able to transition into a new, less extreme way of eating that hasn’t caused me to gain the weight back.
